Stress & Anxiety Start to Build

Jo was in Chicago last weekend for the Windy City Line Dance event and she had a fabulous time. She is all settled in here in Houston with Anna and she has started getting 7-day reminder emails from MD Anderson. Eddie will join us on Monday and Tuesday we hit the ground running.

How is Jo? As calm and peaceful as ever.

How am I? Well, I'm a nervous wreck and I'm starting to buckle under the stress... Several people have commented on how much they like my writing and I'm terrified that I won't be able to perform this time around. It's been over 18 months since Jo's last major surgery. What if I'm not funny this time around? What if I've lost my mo-jo? Yeah...I hit the ball out of the park the last couple of years. So what? The Minnesota TWINS won the 87 and 91 World Series. That's history! Currently, they've lost TWELVE postseason baseball games in a row and their fans (me included) have all but given up on them. What if I disappoint my fans just like the TWINS have disappointed all of us Minnesotans?

With the TWINS early exit from postseason baseball, you're probably wondering what Jo will now be doing on November 3rd? I really don't know. All I do know is we won't be watching the Yankees.

Tim, I think it's amazing alone how you can write about it. I had the honor of meeting Jo last year in Chicago volunteering on the floor crew. I was honored to say the least. What you do alone in sharing her story with all of us is nothing less than amazing, no one could imagine what any of you could be going through. Now I see after a video posted from Chicago a new journey starts and from our family to yours you will all be in our prayers. If there's one thing I've learned since Peg and I started Linedancing is that it's just another part of our family, I feel very lucky and blessed to have met everyone.

All our prayers will be with you all,

Andy, Peggy and Nicholas Williams

Hi Tim! I'm from Brooklyn NY so I've always been a Yankees fan but I'm an even bigger fan of Jo, you & Anna! Bruno & I were fortunate to spend some quality time with Jo in Shanghai last month so she knows we will keep you all in our prayers these coming months. There's no doubt that God will continue to help you convey to us, through this blog, what's happening on this current journey of your family. Sending our love & virtual hugs to you all, Rosie & Bruno Multari

Hi Tim, this comes to you from Geneva Switzerland. Met Jo in Windy City last year and had some truly wonderful moments with her in Shanghai actually, on and off the floor. Been reading your blog since it exists: you are a terrific natural writer and Jo's fans truly appreciate being so well informed on this new journey. Thinking of you all every day, with much love

Tim: You're all in our prayers here in the Mile-High. Wrigley & Lucky have been crossing their tails for days.

Tim -- you will never disappoint your fans.....you write from your heart and are guided by your feelings....with or without humor, that's a winning combination.....just like you and Jo.....a winning combination.

I will leave a light on for Jo, but it will be in my heart.....blessings and love to Jo, Anna and you....Miki H.

Jo rest assured that you will never fall from the grace you have as long as you have your mind. You are a fighter and you will be a winner.
Thanks for what you have done and what you will do for the dance Community world wide.

As Anna leared, we git what we git and we won't throw a fit! Thanks for giving up your precious time to keep us up to date on Jo. We love her a lot and your words help us to send positive energy to her every day. What ever you write, we will appreciate!

Just as centeredness and optimism and perspective are just part of who Jo is, your humor and perspective and optimism is part of you are and will always be there. Although, challenge makes us more of who we are, so when everything is all "uneventful", you may have less to put your humor onto, but it will never leave you! :) We miss you, and Lizzy keeps telling me that "Anna can't come over today because she is in Texas" :) Thank you for taking the time to include us in your world and for so wonderfully demonstrating such a balanced approach to this "curve ball" :)
