Can anyone spare a couple of bucks? Ryan Seacrest and Dick Clark told me to be in Times Square by 7pm and I don't have the cab fare on me! I sure hope Hilary Duff doesn't wear the same outfit I have on. Happy New Year!
In November 2004, Jo and I found out that we were going to have a baby! At the same time, Jo was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia - a medical term that means her bone marrow was failing; it was no longer doing its job of producing white blood cells, red blood cells and platelets. On June 17th, 2005, Jo gave birth to a beautiful baby girl - Anna Claire Szymanski. Anna's health was perfect and has continued to be perfect! This Blog is dedicated to Jo’s journey along the road to recovery.

Hey - its BeLynda. I can't find Van & Rita's number anywhere ... so give me a call. I got some clothes for the princess and I have a few questions. Take care!
Thanks for all the updates. This is truly a wish for a HAPPY AND HEALTHY NEW YEAR.
We have many happy memories from our seminars at SNPJ (Enon Valley) and other Pittsburgh locations. We were wondering if there was any way that Jo could get "credit" when we donate blood. If you can get us a contact person through the doctor, hospital or local blood bank, we would be happy to follow up on it.

Forget the $2.00. You can keep the $$$$. I would have driven your taxi to Times Square for FREE!!! And I am sure you would have been a hit! I bet all those millions of people were asking, "Where is BABY ANNA?" I would have even let you bring your parents along for the ride! :)
Wishing you the HAPPIEST AND HEALTHIEST 2006 to ALL the family!
Sources I've contacted for 3rd opinions for family members that were struggling with options were the Mayo clinic. They were terrific for two close relatives!
I wouldn't rule out calling St Judes hospital for a 3rd opinion. They may even make an exception although Jo is an adult or at least provide a consult. My closest relative later told me she wished she had sought out more for what was out there.
Many congrats on all your hard, diligent work and research! You have our deep respect, admiration and prayers for the very best success in your fight! You will win.
Dear Jo and Tim, Thank you for sharing your story and life with us; the new babe is poignantly precious. I am more deeply touched by your presence here than by the enchanting dancing and skilled choreography that first let me "meet" you via line dancing. I appreciate your kindness in opening your heart to anyone who surfs in - and I will act on your suggestions for ways to help; those actions have special meaning and significance now. I signed up on the bone marrow registry a year or so ago and will give blood again as soon as I am over a minor cold. Wishing you blessings, strength, clarity, and peace. JPL in Alabama
