Anna has been searching for 4-leaf clovers, hoping they might bring a little luck for her mom. Anna has also been practicing biting the shamrocks with her FIRST TOOTH!
Jo did have to have transfusions last Saturday, so it's kind of tough to know exactly what her counts are doing. The transfusions drive the counts up, making it impossible to know what would have happened without them. While Jo's platelet counts seemed to be coming up, her red blood cells had dropped far enough to require a transfusion. After ATG, it is not uncommon to see the different components of blood production respond at different rates.
Jo will see Dr. Alvarez on Thursday for the first time in over a month. It will be interesting to get his comments.

Love the photo. That's no way to get your baby used to eating salad, though.
Hi Jo,
Hang in there. Your counts are going to go all over the place for awhile but I pray every day that God will bring you thru this. Anna is adorable. What a lucky little girl to have you and Tim as her parents. Hope to see you on the dance floor by this time next year.

In the dancing world, the name "Jo Thompson" always brought to mind words like "kind, warm, happy, beautiful, sincere, talented, engaging..." Now, outside of the dancing world, in addition to those words, we must add "strong, positive, determined, devoted, spirited, remarkable... and a miracle!"
"God's delays are not God's denials. God's timing is perfect."
Our prayers for your full recovery will, in time, be answered. Stay strong.

Who needs a 4 leaf clover with this Beautiful Human Doll you have! Are you sure she isn't part Irish? She should be the cereal box cover for Lucky Charms Cereal.
Hopefully the transfusions were just a band-aid and that all systems start balancing out soon.
Jo - with everything you have gone through, don't let one single incidence hold you back. Us Dancing Guardian Angels are still directing all our strength Jo's way.
Love & Prayers, JAM
hang in there Jo, love the picture

Hi Tim,
I am not sure if you will remember me.
This is Beth Ann Coyne, I am the HardWood Shiner that took care of Jo's schedule and every wish at the Dance Team ShowDown in Ft. Wayne, In. for about 10 years.
I am Just learning of Jo's illiness since the event this year in Ft. Wayne.
Talk about being out of the loop.
Married! Baby! All of that, My how time does fly!
I am thinking of you both, reading as much as I can to catch up on your lives.
You are all 3 in the thoughts and prayers of all of the people who were on the HardWood Shiners Dance team.
Jo was the best at our event every year and we love her so much!
Please, a big hug and kiss to her from myself and my husband Kurt.
Take, care, Love Beth Ann

Tim and Jo,
It seems like an eternity since I last saw you both. Over the years, I've thought of you often, hoping that we would run into each other so that I could know how you both were. Last week I googled Jo and was so surprised to read about all the events of your lives. I haven't been able to get you off of my mind since.
Jo, I am so saddened by the struggles you have had with her health. I admire your strength and courage. In my mind, you are the picture of beauty and vitality and I know you will overcome this illness and be healthy again soon. Until then, I'll be sending you only positive thoughts.
Congratulations on your sweet little Anna. I'm so thrilled for you! You must be incredible parents.
I just wanted to let you know that you three are in my thoughts. Tim, I hope you are doing well. I've never found a better lead than you (except for Jo, of course). Welcome home.
Take care,

Hey Jo,
We think about every day back here at home. Your mom and Yolanda keep me up to date. We're all looking forward to seeing you and your family again! Stay strong and know that you are in our prayers.

Jo--I learned many of your dances at the senior citizen centers near Dayton, OH. But I haven't danced since leaving there over two years ago. So when I was asked to work with some women here at the park in FL. I immediately thought to look for your dances. I am new at teaching this stuff but always enjoyed dancing. I am so sorry to hear of your illness. I will keep you in my prayers and hope that you continue to be strong and on the road to recovery.

Hi, Jo
I've been following this blog ever since I discovered your health problems. You will always be a favorite person (and choreographer) of mine, and I hope (and pray, and expect) you'll quickly be fully recovered. It would be great to see you at World's next year in Nashville.
I'm teaching intermediate line dance here in Cookeville, TN and acquainting my students with your dances. You're tops!
Love,
Ardi Lawrence
Hello Little Miss Anna,
Just checking in to make sure you are giving Mommy and Daddy lots of love and joy each day. We think of them often and hopefully will get to see them in a couple of weeks at Pikes Peak with AJ & Scott. Of course, we hope you will be joining us too! Lots of love to you, Mommy & Daddy! We know that God has a plan and we thank Him everyday for Jo!
