Prison Break

With Dr. Herndon's permission, we made a dash for civilization this evening and we had a nice farewell dinner at Houston's. The Spinach dip was excellent!

Jo will spend one last night here in the hospital. Tomorrow morning, she will get her PICC line removed and she'll get discharged. You wouldn't believe the stuff they have given us to take home. We have a shopping bag full of medications and another bag full of canisters for shipping blood samples back over the next 3 months. We may need to stop at the post office on the way out of town and ship half of it home.

Jo,

Get up on that Horse that helped you get better and "Saddle-UP" and ride back here to Colorado. Just can't wait to be able to see the three of you. Have a safe trip.

JAM

I had a bag full of medications too. Managed to get off them all in time. If you are on cyclosporin , it gave me the shakes for a while and also found I couldn't eat eggs. Made my tummy hurt. Hope the worst is now behind you and that your blood counts start to show a rise in the next few weeks.

Love

Had no idea of Jo's condition until reading about it in your blog. Please know that we will be adding Jo and your family to our prayer list and prayer chain.

My Dad had heart surgery a couple years ago and it was so hard to watch him go through it. Something my brother said really stuck with me. He said "God loves Dad more than we could ever love him and He will take care of him because Dad is one of His children."

Those simple words have really helped me get through tough times since.

I have only recently heard about your illness. I am so sorry to hear about that. I learned many dances either from you at Peachstate in Atlanta, or from others who loved your dances just like i do. I always thought you were so funny, warm, and just a fantastic person. I wish nothing but the best for you and your family. I will miss seeing you at Peachstate this year.

Dear Jo -- I have kept up with Tim's amazing journal as you travel together down the road to your recovery. I can feel the love that surrounds you and the love and devotion between you and Tim.

The Valentine picture of Anna is beautiful. She has the same magnificent eyes as her mom. I look forward to seeing her in her Easter outfit :)

God Bless you all......and may you soon get back to living a normal healthy life together as a family.

Dear Jo,

Have been following your progress closely on this blog. Was a shock when I chanced upon the blog. May God shower You with his Blessings and lead you to the road of recovery. What will the line dancing world be without Jo? I count myself as one of the privileged few from my part of the world to have had the opportunity to learn the techniques of dancing from you in Kuala Lumpur and then in Nashville again .. you're such a beautiful dancer and a great instructor. From this blog i've seen your daughter's picture .. she's as sweet & pretty as her mum. I've sent you a card which I hope you have received. Once again, wishing you an early recovery.

Dear Jo, I am relieved that you are making good progress in overcoming your illness.

My line dance friends and I were bowled over by your warm personality when you visited Singapore. We loved your performance of "This Country's Rockin'" and we had a lot of fun learning some dances taught by you.

I had the privilege of meeting you again at Worlds 2004 in Nashville and I treasure the photo taken with you at one of your workshops.

Congratulations on being a new mum. Your Anna is gorgeous.

I pray that you will recover fully soon. God bless you, Anna and Tim.
Warm regards,
Teresa
