9 Pokes - A New Record

Jo saw Dr. Anderlini today and he suggested that she start her vaccinations. She was given a brand new vaccination record book, just like every grade school kid brings in to the school nurse. Three more visits are required to complete the vaccinations.

Jo's day went sort of like this:

Poke #1: Blood Draw
Poke #2: IV in her hand for sedation
Poke #3: Bone Marrow Biopsy - the BIG needle!
Poke #4, #5 and #6 - Left arm vaccinations
Poke #7, #8 and #9 - Right arm vaccinations

I suggested a body piercing to get the day into double digits. Jo gracefully declined.

Tim,
That's so mean! :-)

Jo,
Hope everything goes well with the vaccinations. No side effects, no fever, I mean.
Good luck with the rest of the trip to 100% health!
Heard you will be leaving TX soon. How soon?

It has been so wonderful to keep up with your progress on your blog, Jo. Thank you, Tim, for the updates. Also, I've enjoyed seeing additional photos from the "quad" blog. Jo, you were already one of the most incredible people I've ever known before your stem cell transplant, and now surviving it with such strength, you seem superhuman to me. Congratulations on continued recovery and a bright future!

If Jo gets a tatoo, you'll need to get a Hog (Harley), to complete the look. Then you can ride back to Colorado on Jo's Hog.

Jo,
Thank you for stopping by the line dance open dancing room last Saturday.
My friend and I were delighted by your presence at the Tx Classic.
Your company and your dancing made the night very special for us.
I hope that you and your family had a wonderful weekend in the Galleria area as well.
Take care and hope to see you soon.
