Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everybody! Jo's platelets have dropped a little, but they are holding steady around 40,000. When they hit 50,000, we had just spent two days in Colorado Springs which is higher in altitude than Denver. Apparently, blood production is enhanced in thinner air.

Jo had red cell transfusions last Thursday, but she has still only had a single platelet transfusion since we came home from the NIH at the end of February. Our next trip to the NIH is rapidly approaching for Jo's 3 month checkup on May 23rd.

Anna Update - 2 teeth and almost crawling. I did see her go from a laying position back up to sitting for the first time today. Supposedly, her Meema taught her to do that earlier this week, but I got the feeling today that she was inspired by my coaching.

HAPPY EASTER to you all from Bonnie Scotland! Thank you, Tim, for the updates on Jo, it is much appreciated and I pass them on to my classes before we dance "This Little Light". I'm sure if you listen carefully, you will hear us singing along with Scooter Lee. With all the singing, tambourines and flashing lights we raise the roof - it's such a happy, good 'feel-factor' dance. If positive thoughts are what you need, Jo, they are making their way to you by the thousand.
What a lovely picture of wee Anna surrounded by her Easter bunnies - she's a wee cutie - what a joy she must be to both of you.
Take care of each other ....
Love and best wishes - Jean

Hi Jo -

If coming to Colorado Springs makes your counts go up - you can come to the Pikes Peak region as often as you wish - we don't mind having you here one bit!!

Hope you, Tim and Anna had a very happy Easter!

Love - rms ; )

Thinking of you from Nova Scotia....

Great news on the count...onward and upward!
Anna is getting very grown up looking..hard to believe she is almost a year old. She is the blessing and the gift to you both in all of this.
Hope to hear bigger numbers from you soon !!
As always,
